Kathy, those are great pictures- you really have some lovely birds. That first girl from Dick has got wonderful lacing! Is that the resplendent Miss Polly in the 8th picture down? Or do you have another huge beauty with that rusty front? And fourth from the bottom - who is "Leggs" in there? Wow!
Tim, I am all for giving chickie a chance- a little time and patience can do wonders. Go for it!
Cetawin, she is a tough girl, no shoes, no blanket. Born and raised in Wisconsin, so she knows how to grow a polar bear coat. The only thing I would worry about is the richness of KY grass as compared to anything else she has been on, but you know all about that, so I have no worries there. She lived outside one winter here, and one up north with just a run in to get out of the wind and weather. She does need a farrier that knows what he is doing to balance the one front foot, and your MIL's farrier needs to be kicked out of the business and run out of the country!
Put him on the list!!
NC and WI both demand the Coggins and health cert, papers, etc. so I will make sure everything is supplied and ready up at that end. Hope this works!
