Today I moved my Lavenders and Lav-splits into a pen I opened up by getting rid of the RIRs. They are 4 months old (4 roos and 1 pullet) from the latest generation, and 5 months old (1 roo and 1 pullet) from an earlier generation. I dunno .... that is alot of roosters with 2 girls. Will have to see how it goes. I plan to put one of the Lavender boys with a couple of my black English Orps, once I see them actively mating. I want some Lavender English type Orps.

kathy, the next aka LAST batch of eggs are due monday 11/29. i expect they will hatch starting saturday if all goes well.....tried to candle 1 tonight but MAN is that broody MEAN. geez....surprised i'm not bleeding....

Eh Nella what's one eye? You got two to start with so I see that as one for the chickens and a spare.

Brandon...when you come to build that turkey a coop...build a small apartment for me...I will need a place to live when husband files for divorce.
