You should cross her to a blue egger, and make lavender eggs

Really? You think that would work? Hmmmm....
I have only 2 blue egg gene roosters.... a Lavender Ameraucana, and a black Ameraucana.

What color is your EE? I would probably cross to the black for simplicity sake.......Wouldn't hurt. At the very worst, you'll end up with regular EEs.......

I have a bantam EE that was created by crossing a cochin who laid pinkish eggs and a bantam araucana. I think. In theory, she should lay lavender tinted eggs. Interestingly enough, she came out SILVER LACED. Very strange. Not sure on the colors that went into her......white cochin and ?? ameracauna? Cute little thing, but she hasn't started laying yet.

Also, I have a blue cochin with a peacomb that was supposed to be used for a Blue Brahma project. But I have no Light Brahma roosters to cross her to. Sigh.

Brew laid the most beautiful huge light brown egg every day. The kind that are so big that even in an "extra large" or "jumbo" egg carton, I was hard pressed to get the lid closed without breaking it!

Look at this egg I just got..... I think this is the first time I have ever got a, "wind egg." It came from the English Orps pen...
It is so tiny!

Called a "wind egg," or a "fart egg." A new layer likely. Often times they just contains egg white, and no yolk.

Ah i was gonna tell Nella bean to have her house guest go easy on the "wind eggs" too while he is there! LOL

Oh yeah, more roosters..........sounds like a GREAT idea. Or not......

In the grand scheme of things, I have no interest in making blue brahmas.....so I will just let her hang out with the rest of the flock. I do actually have some blue brahma/cochin mixes already. Another local guy got my girls' brother....a splash rooster with a peacomb, and already crossed to a light brahma. I think I have 2 roosters and 2 hens from that cross. One is like a blue copper......blue with copper on neck. Pretty girl.

I already have my bantam cochin mottled flock. Plus a mille fleur rooster I need to swap out over those girls for a while.
Plus the barred blue/barred cochin project
Plus the Giant/Cochin x Leghorn/Giant project.
Considering the blue bearded/featherlegged bantam EE, but that might be last on the list.
