And think how much worse it might be if Brock was thinking he was the ...well...the opposite of Jesus. At least he is thinking toward the Light!
And the new chicks will be good therapy for everyone!

Well how bout some good news to cheer us (me) up?? 3 new laying chooks will be coming home with us from the breeder this holiday season! Yay! We are gonna go there probably this weekend to see what he's got, then do a 5 week quarantine. Sound good?

Kathy, just traveled back a few posts and read, I am sorry and understand. My nephew and my sister suffer and my nieces son. Christopher ended his life this past summer and it's taken it's toll on my niece. Jaimie and my sis are difficult to say the least. For them I believe drugs played a role.
However be encouraged, nearly every Thursday I volunteer in publications with a young man from church who is doing well with this horrific disease. I don't know the details but I do know he works part time and seems to be doing ok. So there is hope. Scott's also involved drugs.
Kids just don't know how dangerous drugs can be. I know I didn't and thank God I got saved or I'm sure I'd be right there with them. Lord have mercy.

You have my sympathy and my prayer.

Eggs! They're back. This line of eggs has some from girls returning from a very long vacation. The second from the left is Georgie's(Del) and the really blue pointy one is either from Snow or Nora, not sure which, but it's the first one from one of them (they're lay the bluest eggs here)

From left to right: Charlotte, Georgie, Snow or Nora, Miranda (lt brahma), Riley, Reba (RIR), and Fern.

As a younger one myself, I hate drugs, think they are disgusting and wouldn't take them if I was threatened to DIE. They are horrible and I know how they can ruin your life. So glad we have great adults to advise us!

Yay eggs! Great assortment! Snow/Nora's looks like the ones my EE lays.

Kathy.....hang tough. You obviously know what's best for him and given your profession he should feel extremely lucky to have a mother who can both love and "treat" him as need be. Jennifer (DW) studied Social Work in college and did an internship at a psychiatric hospital. She has explained to me the many diseases that can affect the brain and it's chemistry. Like Tim, I too believe that God can do the impossible. Will be praying for you and yours

Cyn - glad your girls are laying again. Seems my bunch is on strike!! 1 egg today out of 15 laying aged hens....go figure. Oh well, I don't eat that many anyways.

Off to wrap CHRISTmas gifts while DW and the boys are away.

Oh, and Tim, our pastor has me "preparing for a miracle"....what it is, only HE knows, but I know that our God is a God of miracles and I stand expecting mine. Keep me in your prayers please

Have a great evening all
