Hi, everyone
Kathy those are cute chicks.
We're back from AL and the weather was great. We had a great time with the grandkids and miss them. We've talked of moving south but at our age it's just to much. Lord knows I have a hard enough time to do what I have to do here with out having to sell or pack all the "stuff" that accumulates in a lifetime.
I met Allaboutdemchicks and visited her place the first day. I took her some Del eggs and she sent me back with some eggs too. Just no Delawares. BBS orps, RIR's and try not to faint, Silkies. One of which is a Porcelain. They're in the incu now.
I asked them not to xray them and the security in Birmingham was real nice and just swabbed each egg and the used the hand wand thingy to check them. I kept them with my carry on of course. I hope they all hatch. I did give the guy my card with BYC written on the back. I should have just had it printed there. Now I have to keep writing it on.
Scott if you read this I'm ready for those CR egg now. I've got some BR's comming and so yours should give me a full incubator. I don't believe in wasting energy and running one that is half full. I'm minus a row in the turner and that's a good thing. I can only do 35 at a time. I just throw in some crosses or what ever and then either sell them for a dollar each or give the chicks away. The bible says to "share what you have with others". Something I learned teaching Sunday School for 17 years.
I learned other things too. Like "there always will be summer and winter. Not sure I like that one.
We've had over 14 feet, that's OVER 14 feet of snow here. We got TWO this past Sunday night! and there is more to come. Not much more but some. There are reports that there will be flooding. Who knows maybe the
TSC will sell out of ducks.
Well take care and Scott send me an address so I can send you some money. Oh and I haven't forgotten your job situation. Hope it's improved since I logged in here the last time.
