Home...had a great time, excellent meal of shrimp cocktail, salad, either prime rib or herb roasted chicken. Loaded mashed potatoes. Amaretto carrots , kohlrabi and a choice of 3 cheesecakes including one with chocolate and raspberries.or a creme brulee... topped off with an Amaretto and a splash of 7up. I danced with hubby, my daughter's boyfriend, a Shy Major and a 2 star General...I am home in my recliner with a cup of coffee.

Sounds like you had a great time LH! Glad to see that you made it home safe and sound.

Guess who I found in the boys coop when I went to tuck them in for the night? Yup! Gooby!

I'm not sure how the little toe rag keeps getting in there, but if I find him in there again tomorrow, I think I'll just leave him there. The boys don't seem to have any problems with him being in their yard or coop, and since that's ultimately where he'll end up anyhow, I may as well go with the flow. He seemed quite relaxed in their coop tonight, actually. Could it be that my littlest man prefers the company of his uncles [who have never struck at him in any way, shape or form by the way] to that of his aunties [who peck and chase him at every opportunity!]?

Hmmmm....could be! I did put him back in Chief's coop for the night. Tomorrow is another day. We shall just have to wait and see.............

Kathy, that license plate site is kind of fun. How about this one for me instead? It shows the present day plates. Much prettier than the ones from long ago!

Not much you can do with a name like Serrin or Amy for that matter.

Oh I went through the tons of pics from last night....what a pain...I cannot count the number of time the "Warrant Officer's Wife" was snapped. Most of them are those "turn with food in your mouth" or "lean this way" click But I will share some of the red eye snap before I can look pics....

Thank goodness there were professional pictures taken and hopefully in a couple of weeks I can share a good picture....maybe LOL It took awhile to stop chuckling from my husband's expression when we walked in and he saw that my hair was over a foot shorter...

He recovered fairly quickly but the shock value was great.
