Meg's baby has pipped off a bit more of the shell but no zip yet. It peeps to me when I talk to it. The egg is way full, I am watching it to make sure it can get out alright. I have another of hers pipped, 3 zoomzoom eggs pipped and a lucky egg pipped. Woot we are 13 minutes into day 21.


I think it is a nekkid gene too. hahahahahaha

Just checking in. Warm weather is here and it's the busy season. Planting a garden and making modifications and building more coop room. Fixing fencing that fell in the winter. Headed south again next week to TX to assess the new grand baby Henry. See if he's a keeper or not.

Just kidding, I'm sure he is. With all this travel you'd think we were rich. If chickens were dollars we would be.

Kathy I'm sorry to hear about all the family trouble. Just remember the bible says trouble comes to visit but it doesn't say it comes to stay.

I forgot to remember that the first broody Barred Rock was due the same day as my incubator. TODAY, June 10.

Here is the first picture of the first time mama ...... see the baby under her in the first picture? She has 2 out that I saw.

Barred Rock broody #2 is still setting .....
