Was wondering if it was the angle of the photo. I've always thought the Harters had really nice Delawares, very deep bodied. I've recommended them to several folks who've contacted me, thinking I was still breeding them.

Again, let the main flock out and Ranger out. Ike saw him several times, never made any effort to so much as walk toward him, even when they were 5 feet apart and one of Ike's hens made a lunge at Ranger. That might change if he suddenly grabbed one of Isaac's girls, but I guess I need to put Ranger inside the main pen/coop and see what happens. If Ike will tolerate him, I'll add in Shelby and Maretta and then Ranger will have his own girls with him.

I don't get many girls from my pen! The girls throw almost all males!

So here are some pics of my orps and a few others. Now we are not sure about the last one because while it looks female it has been known to crow now and then.

#3 is a BBS pullet. She has a smush since they aren't roosting yet. I may have to teach them to do so. I do have a nice whte pullet but she is on the nest. They are starting to lay. I took lots of pics but these are the first. I may post some others later. Questions or comments are appreciated. I'm not sure if the two blks are in here but they are both nice IMO and will be crossed with the BBS pullet, Lord willing. The BBS and RIR are from AL. The other orps are from Jody. #8 is the barred EE and I do have a Del/EE but she just will not cooperate.
