Kathy, I can hardly wait to see pics of the projects. This is going to be so very interesting to watch them grow out. I wonder what you'll get? What do the geneticist say? Is there a certain expectation of how they'll look? Should they start to look like Del's with this hatching? Here's hoping you get every single one!

Well, yesterday was so busy from sun up to sun down and beyond, that I never had a spare moment to take pictures of my three.

So, back into the charger the camera batteries go [since they don't seem to want to hold a charge longer than an hour!

]and hopefully I'll have a bit more time today. I hate having days where I don't have any time to spend with my babies. It seems so empty somehow, despite the fact that I didn't have a moment to sit down.

Our weather forecast for today is calling for temperatures to soar to near triple digits!!

Go figure. Spring was wet and cold and never actually happened, [one look at my garden and you can see how miserable it was

] and now, when we're supposed to be cooling down for the summer, we finally get the kind of temperatures we should have had back in July!!

Nothing is as it used to be, or should be! It begs the question.....What next? I shudder to think!

TaceyPerkins and Jeff (catdaddyfro) have F1s from cock #1. Oh, my, guess what? The world is coming to an end! Must be. Shadow defended Nugget! Two of the D'Anver boys pounced on Nugget at the same time. When the second one grabbed her by the head, Shadow flew at him with both feet and knocked him right off Nugget!

I couldn't believe my eyes! She braved those fiesty little roosters to save the hen she always loved to beat up on herself. After all, who else can she hide behind when they come looking for a pretty little lavender banty hen, eh?
