My Delawares just crack me up.
I was trying to get some pictures of my young New Hampshires (June 20 hatch) to show Beth and Nella. Look at the Delawares in the background.

Poor ol Floozy......and yes, your dellies are HILARIOUS. They are nosy little boogers.

I swear, when I left to go to KY saturday noonish the birds looked normal. When I got home Sunday night, those New Hamps looked huge! I think they are growing by the day!

My dad is flying in this weekend. I am going to a rabbit show saturday.....but he will be here for 2 weeks. I am hoping he can help me get a dividing fence up in the big cochin pen, and a new coop built. I need a bachelor pad for the NH boy I am getting from you plus the mottled cochin cockerel growouts.

Plus. AHEM. Hey Beth, where are those pix? LOL

I think those NH's are beautiful!

Poor Floozy. I was trying to take pics today and the Dels were just trying their best to hog the camera.

Nella, enjoy the time with your dad.

I have a baby Delaware and the Delawagger has pipped!

The baby was still a bit wet so no pics yet [besides the camera battery is charging]. I will try to get pics tomorrow after I get back from getting my haircut.

I need help...
Remember this guy? I was thinking on keeping him as a breeder. However he is such a bully. He is causing a lot of problems in the flock. He used to try to come after me but no longer does that.

This is the other guy I was considering and he is sweet. He just healed from being nearly scalped and the "bully" just about scalped him again. He is a bit younger so it is hard to really compare them. His legs are more yellow than what they were in the pics. He gets along well with all the other chickens, even the older Delaware rooster which is staying. My older Del roo is from a different blood line and he has always been a good roo.

I have put the bully in the top of the Nella brooder. I cannot keep 3 Del roos so I am thinking that the bully will have to be invited to dinner. I just hate to do it because he looks so good. I need to get more recent pics but my camera battery died.
Opinons and advice appreciated.
