Lh, I love the story about Cheyenne! Has she recovered from her ordeal?
So sorry about all your troubles

You be sure that you take care of yourself too.

I loved all the rooster stories, especially Beth's

It took 3 hours to get my hair done today so the bully is still around. The plan is for tomorrow morning if it isn't raining.

I have two babies

Shug is a good mama so far. Pics coming soon.

Yes, Beth, you just have to get some EE's. I love them even though mine are a bit flighty, except for the one that likes to roost on the porch swing.

I do love to watch a broody mom with her babies.

Amy, I wish I could keep all the roos. Right now I have 3 Delaware boys so one has to go. I also have 4 others that will either be re homed or sent to camp. I remember what you told me about how to make a nice roo and I have been doing that which is why I think the bully has come around and decided to be nice to me, however he is still a bully to all the other chickens.

Here is a recent pic of the other little guy. I have been calling him Punky Rooster since he has had a blue head for the longest time.

Laura,
Punky has that chest goin' on there! My focus is on that well rounded chest area and yellow legs right now. I'm still building the barn. I think that boy has it! I like him......... alot! How the heck did you end up with 2 good lookin' boys? I get about 2 out of 10 that I really like that much! AND, as a bonus, you got the broody you have been wanting! You must have been sayin' your prayers and being a good girl!

Funny thing, with Punky I noticed early on that he looked like he was going to have that wide chest, but with Bully, it took a while before he showed that.

Here is my oldest rooster, he is going thru a molt right now.
