There was always two search engines. The built in one, plus Threadloom. Why are there 2 search engines? Is it going to stay that way?

There has always been the two.Hmm, I don't remember seeing 2 options before the update. So why have two? Is there any particular reason?
The threadloom is search engine is a third-party search engine, it has more search features than the built in XF search when searching primary content types, like posts, but it still doesn't do everything that the built in XF search does, like the XF search handles things like the postings tab on profiles. The general consensus is that people like the threadloom search, because of the extra features / usability compared to the default XF search, but we still need the XF search to handle things that threadloom doesn't. We are using the XenForo Enhanced Search for the built-in search, but that has more to do with the size of the search index than additional features.Hmm, I don't remember seeing 2 options before the update.
