i know, im very nervous, but just hoping for the best. I do have my male pekin (no crest) and 3 non crested ducks, so im confident that i will get a few ducklings not carrying the lethal gene.

Highest incidence of lethal problems would occur with crested drakes on crested hens - you should be OK. Keep us updated on how things go.

These are all photos of my crested Magpie duck (name is Elvis) He, and my other ducks, were part of my 8th grade science fair project. I trained them to move back an forth from one cage to the next cage, at the ring of a bell! I got first place!!!
