Seasonal feeding?

Thanks for the advice. Mine are allowed free range during the day but that doesnt seem to have any impact. They have figured out where the feed is kept and have decided to hang out outside the door like feed is going to magically appear. Wait... are my girls doing this for attention? Because I'm giving them the same feed as whats in their feeder, or if i move their feeder its like they discovered something new.

When I go to my shed generally my hoard of chickens come running despite there being full dishes here. Chickens are opportunistic feeders, so they are always hopeful something new is coming, and are happy to see new feed to pick through.
