Our neighbors filed a grievance with the city, so we can't keep our girls. :(

Sunny - Buff Orpington, Nov 2012, lays tan eggs
Frosty - Delaware, Nov 2012, lays cream eggs
Mabel - Mottled Java, Nov 2012, lays tan eggs with freckles
Penny - Easter-egger, July 2013, lays pale green eggs

They currently share a small coop and free-range in our small backyard. I never hear them, but I guess they bother the neighbors every morning when the sun rises early in the summer.

Please let me know it you're interested in giving them a good home.

That's sad you have to give them away! I really wish I could take them, but 18 hens is all my hen house can handle. You will find a great home for them, I had to go to cregs list when I had to give my rooster away, he found a great home with 3 girls in Naches.

Hi,
We live in Roy and we could take them (although maybe you could get somebody like Seattle Tilth to go to bat for you - I thought they taught classes for urban chicken keeping, implying hens are OK in Seattle). We have a generous sized coop with a banty rooster and about a dozen assorted chickens. At night they are behind an electric fence but days they free range our acreage under the supervision of two watchdogs. We're right on the way to Mt. Rainier if you were inclined to drop them off and see our place. Otherwise how about meeting midway?
