I started keeping chickens around 50 years ago. I have had great happiness as well as sorrows. I give my birds the best life I can give them. Hello, welcome to BYC! I think you'll find that this is a very helpful site for chickens owners, and produces some very happy chickens!

Maybe you should open a thread about your handicapped hen and see if anyone has any suggestions? If its a leg issue, it can sometimes be helped with chicken wheelchairs and walkers. Others may have some advice for you as well, but if not, they will at least have support. Hope you enjoy this wonder fun community!
