I got a surprise phone call today from the head honcho at Lacaille Ranch
in response to the message I left on their answering machine.
To his credit he was very polite and apologized for what happened and explained
he had some company build his website and they provided the photos.
He's having them come out to remove the pic.
He was very nice and invited me to stop by the ranch if we ever got down in Florida.
I have noticed when googling images of Sebastopol Geese that several of mine show up....
so I guess they beconme public domain. I have a no right click feature on my website
but obviously one can snag images other ways.
CottageRose, on my mac here at home, I was able to snag your photo of your main page of your website by clicking holding and dragging it onto the desktop. I was just trying to show you all that there are ways to sneak around the no right click rule. Don't worry I deleted the photo CottageRose.
Obviously there are ways and Theron I'm certainly not worried about you.
I really wouldn't mind people using my pics
for their own private use (desktop pic or whatever)
but if they're going to use it on their website they
should at least ask or give me credit as the photographer
but like I said people have abused
my written articles and photos so even if they do ask
they will say one thing and do another or use your work for selfish reasons or for profit...
and worse yet, publish the pics or articles as their own! Sheesh!
Take your own d pics.

No problem. If you have Photoshop and don't know how to add it just send me a PM.
I'm glad you actually talked to the guy and he acknowledged that it needed to be removed. That restores my faith in humanity a little bit...
I'm crazy busy now with pre holiday stuff but will get with you after the first of the new year.
Thanks so much for your kind help.
I appreciate it very much.
Well I've checked our Sebbies underneath and cant find a stamp that states 'Made in England'!
It's all a load of hype on that site to sell stock and a disgrace to try and pass off Vicky's bird as their own. A case of mis-represntation and one can only conclude its $$$$$$$$$$$ that matter most.
Very annoying when this happens as many people work for years and have invested hard earned money to improve the quality of their stock. I do hope this person gets a twinge a conscience and does the right thing by removing the picture and offering an apology.
