I like her shape, but I don't know much about showing. I do know what a great type looks like though. Do you have any nice pictures of her side on standing?

Here is a pic of my pullet. She's not "showing" at the moment. You can see that every feather needs to have a nice even lace without any flecks of black in the white part of the feather. I'm just learning myself, so I don't have alot to offer at the moment. Also you should not be able to see lacing thru the feathers.

Ahh. Here is the thread I'm looking for lol.
I just bought 6 chicks, 4 red pullets and 2 bantams. The two bantams turned out to be gold sebrights. I didn't know much about breeds during my first ever chicken purchase last sat, but I've learned a lot over the week and still accumulating knowledge..lol. The darker one I just started identifying as a gold sebright as well, as she has gotten more color in her wings over the last wk. Will she just not have god lacing or is she mixed perhaps?
Anyways, hopefully know one on the site is getting tired of seeing the pictures and hearing my story..lol. I'm new so have been on different threads looking for answers to many different questions, a lot of which I have yet to ask..heh. Here are some pics. Any feedback is helpful. Enjoy. = )
Here is a picture of the 2 bantams on the day I bought them last week. I picked the one because of it's pretty gold wings, not knowing the breed at the time. It was the only one in the bin with the colored wings so it stuck out for me instantly. Then I picked the darkest one in the bin. Who knew I would end up with the 2 golds. I'm pretty sure the rest of the crowd were oegb's. I'm not sure if the one with good lacing could possibly make for good show quality even though it's from tsc? I sure do love the coloring.
This is the one on the right, but from within the last 24 hrs.
These are 2 pictures of the darker one from within the last 24 hrs. You can see a lot more gold has come in over the last week.
Another picture of them together from a couple days ago. Poor lighting.
Is the little spike on the back of the comb an early indication that it's male? I read this on another thread earlier, but wasn't sure if it was true. I feel like it does demonstrate some male characteristics though. It's more bold than the others, likes to fly to the top of the feeder and watch all the rest of the chickens with a somewhat dominant stand, and it's quite concerned when I take the other bantam out and it hears her peeping. = ) It'll fly to the edge of the box or to the top of the feeder to keep an eye on her. He or she is the most interested in jumping onto my hand to get a lift up. Sometimes it even seems jealous if it looks like another chick is about to hitch a ride up lol. One time it ran quickly into my hand and pecked toward the other chick haha. It does have a much harder peck that the others as well. Roo? Sorry for the ramble. I think it's probably a reason people don't like to read/respond to my posts lol!

I tell him all of the time how pretty he is!
I am pretty sure it's a Roo, he started standing taller than the rest at a few weeks old and is very cocky!

I cant really tell that much from your pic.. Do you have any with her standing up and a close up of her comb? Her lacing looks a little light for my tastes.
@ The person asking about their hen being quality, she looks fine but you'll need to get her posed.
@ The person asking about their chicks, I only see the one being a sebright.
@ The person wanting to know if their chick is a hen or rooster, all of the sebrights grow at different rates but if he's growing as fast you say I'd think rooster too.
