We have 3 Silver Sebrights, 2 cockerals and a pullet. The 2 boys are the first to meet me at the door when I go in to visit/feed/clean. Ours seem really laid back compared to what some members have posted in this thread...let's hope they stay that way!

You'll probably be able to sex them around 6 weeks old from the size of their combs and wattles. The roos are hen feathered. Check out Henderson's chart. Sebrights are located about 3/4ths down the page!
I have 5 golden and 1 silver roo.I haven`t tried setting the eggs just yet, they are not old enough.Ihaven`t had any trouble with the two roos.I had a millie D`Uccle roo that was mean and has since found a new home.
I have 4 (2 boys/2 girls) that are 3 months old.
They've been with 5 other breeds since I got them in July.
Mine seem to be extremely calm and quiet, except for
"High Dive" who is crowing.
The boys are friendlier than the girls, but the girls seem to be coming around more.
Here's a pic of 3 of them
I've heard of the poor hatchability of this breed, but I plan
on trying to hatch some next spring.

Thanx, she is one of my favourites & very photogenic. Last year she she came in 1st in 7 shows I entered. Unfortunately this year, 2nd is the best she has been able to place due to some tail feather issues. Hopefully when she molts, the new feathers will grow in correctly. I still plan on breeding her.
