Ok I have 4 chickens, 2 buffs 2 Ameraucana (the standard rare kind, not EE), so my Ameraucanas never brood in a 2 year span, but by buffs on the other hand... only 1 has ever went broody.. so i recently decided to by fertilized chicken eggs for my one buff.. but when I bought the six, my other buff who never once went broody started going broody.. after a 2 yr life

...

so my point im getting to, sorry for rambling on, but my point is... should i split the 6 eggs for each chicken 3 for each.. or should I by new eggs for her? but if i dont really want to by more eggs because i got a large enough coop to house maybe 10 chickens max!

Any suggestions?

That would be a tough decision for me. Are you sure the second broody will stick to it? Some are just testing... practicing... and give it up after a while but before the 3 weeks are up.

But, *tossing a virtual coin,* put 3 in each nest. Just understand that a 100% hatch rate might be too high an expectation....
