"Second Earth found" what do you guys think of this?

Why cant we MAKE another planet like ours, say our lovely moon that graces our skies every evening? Send alot of plants, dirt, water, could it be done? Or make a revival of Space 1999?

I have to say that I doubt that there's life there, and even if there was, how the heck are we planning on finding it?

Like others have mentioned, it's way too far away for trying to be practical/worth it.
