I am keeping up the prayers as well. I was really starting to get down this morning but I think that I have to keep a positive outlook until I have some solid proof.

I will post some results when I get home tonight which might be a little late since I have to stop and get food for all animals in the house (Dog, Cat, chickens and ducks). This is really starting to cost me some money now.

Anyway I should be able to post something later tonight. Keep up the prayers!!!

Ya know, I think it is so much easier when you DONT know that a hen is missing! One day she just shows up with a bunch of babies! I just stumbled on this thread and havent read the whole thing...I too have a loft where my birds can get to and hide out if they want. They have been hatching up there for about 15 years! I unfortunately do not have a nine year old to go up and "check it out." Kudos to him/her?! (can I borrow this spring?) I only know when there are chicks when I see a puffy mama calling and looking up...then I hear all that peeping! They usually jump right down to join her but sometimes I get to climb up and try to get them...what fun! I cant wait until spring! Good luck! Terri O in WI

Oh dear; OP is in New Jersey, which I think is Eastern Time; I am in Atlantic Time zone, which is anhour difference. It is going to be soooooooo late when he checks in tonight.
