Do yours shake their heads back and forth after a beatdown (like mine do)? I guess that's their way of showing they are in pain.

Only if unable to breath through nares. Otherwise they still want more until pretty much dead. These guys were oblivious to the world and just sat there with heads on the ground. During much of the recover phase they sat in the posture where they appeared alert with eyes closed and moved very little beyond periodic swallowing.

He is still sleeping on my leg. He seems to be breathing very deeply and slowly. I think his respiratory tract has some obstructions making breathing more difficult.
