Self-Blue Cochin Bantams

There were a couple of surprises from our SB pen last spring: Here is little frizzle girl, unfortunately with stringy feathers, but full of personality. She is showing some mottling around her head.



Then, up popped this columbian patterned SB cockerel (and two black columbian boys) out of a black hen split to SB and a SB cock. Sorry about quality of photo:



He is about 6 mos. old and starting to get round and fluffy.

Hi guys! I am looking for some lavender bantam cochins to add to my flock. I am trying to make a porcelain bantam cochin. I have calicos but no self blues. If anyone has any for sale I would be interested. I am located in Shelton Washington. I would also preffer local pick ups if possible and eggs only. Thank you

i have several young self blues, but all are too young to ship right now. They were hatched May 20 and 30, and I have several in the incubator still. Let me know if you are interested and Ill get some pix together. Next hatch of self blues is June 28. A couple are frizzled.

I am interested. However I am in the proccess of becoming NPIP certified. I am going to be inspected in the middle of July and I want to get them after the fact. Where are you located? If its okay with you I would like to see the parents and pick up myself. I have had bad experiences with shipping birds. Also how much would they be? And are you going to sell eggs?

I may have under estimated my chicken door size with my blue cochin. The chicken door is currently 10x10 inches. My cochin is only 3 weeks old but I just saw some at the fair and they are bigger than I thought (Im actually excited about this! lol) Anyway I dont want to wait and see because it will be winter and I dont want to be outside making adjustments to the door so if its possible I'd rather do it now if I need to.
