Self Blue (Lavender) Silkie Thread

You could probably make your own with water, vitamins and electrolytes, and plain gelitan from the store. Like a v&e jello. But use less water to make it thicker like the napa.

Great idea! The secret is finding a container that will hold it without it dumping out and it not turning to a liquid.

Were you the person who won chamion of the show , with a white silkie , in FT worth I believe it was.

I know what you mean our shows are small ,The last show I went to was in NB TX, There might have been 10-15 silkies if anything.

All were mostly white, & some splash, very pretty, but no other colors.

There's alot !!! of OEG bantams & brahmas at our shows, but not many of the other breeds

Do you sell any of your silkies offten ? if so what is average cost for a Lav silkie cockerel or a pair ?

Also, I am going to abilene show are you going ?

Thoughts on this one??

Good Idea! We get them in vacummed sealed packages-we use a razor and make a big X in it so they can easily eat and lick it... Hmmmm let me think what about a good ziplock bag...mmm..that might not work because they could choke on plastic...Im going to keep thinking on this...This is the only reason I dont like shipping babies...Im scared to death of them dehydrating and such:-(

Well oldtimegator I went and took a look at your travel waterer , very nice ! Has anyone else looked because the jello shot your wanting to create will turn to liquid slowly and it can be drank from this . What an idea oldtimegator sell the device and a recipe with it , it will change slowly makeing fluids last longer . Awsome !! I was really happy to see someone careing enough to be so creative . I beleive I will order some , just to put away for when I might ship . Tammy .B
