Self Blue (Lavender) Silkie Thread

Ya no it's just a shame that people can be so greedy and be such liars!!!!
I mean don't most people want repeat business??? Hello McFly.....

Like I mentioned earlier... my lav chicks and split chicks sometimes come out striped, but they look lighter than partridge. The lavs will look wither diluted and striped or will look almost like a splash chick. I'm sorry if you did get duped.

I completely understand that poultry genetics is a throw of the dice.....no matter what, you'll sometimes hatch out the odd white from black parents, the odd partridge from splash & blue parents......you take these risks and I understand and accept that.
What I DON'T accept, and never will, are the breeders who intentionally defraud buyers. I won't mention their names here, I'm not the only one who has been duped by them, and there would be no good accomplished by that. I'm a strong believer in karma, so I just let it go....

Now, with the lavenders...even when you breed known Lav to known Lav you still will get an occasional "mutt", and I accept that too. If the egg buyer is not willing to understand that risk, and accept it, they shouldn't buy the eggs.

Just my .02

twice but thanks to darling farms I finally have some real beauties..

X5!!!!! I understand that an oddball can happen here and there also....but I KNOW I've been duped quite a few times already. It's when you here the same complaints about the same seller that makes me mad.....then you know its more than likely not a mistake. I don't have the best of the best but I ALWAYS...ALWAYS...ALWAYS tell the truth if/when I sell anything. I love love love the Lav Silkies and lost a ton of money in the process. I am very careful about who I buy from now. I've definately learned my lesson...lots of $$$ later.

Well I guess alot of us have learned a lesson so here is to a New Year and making better choices, improving what we have and hopefully helping other not make the same mistake.
