What causes those oil spots?? DH gets them on his clothes all the time and can't figure out where they are coming from. Is it dryer sheets?

Cassandra

Supposed to be from using dryer sheets in an already hot dryer. This is why is doesn't happen each time you use them. Only happens when the dryer is hot when you put in the sheets and causes the oils to come out unevenly in the clothing. I have ruined several blouses this way! No more, though, thanks to the blue balls!

Go here for a full list of the recipes posted here before. I believe baby wipes are also on that list.

For this recipe you need one of the containers that is the "pull out of top" kind

BABY WIPES RECIPE
Step One

Strong paper towels work the best.
Cut one roll of paper towels in half.
Take out the core so wipes pull out of the center.

Step Two

Make solution.

2 cups water
1/2 cup of baby oil
1/2 cup baby magic baby bath

Step Three

Place 1/2 roll of paper towels in container.
Pour solution over towels.
Store in container. Makes 2 1/2 rolls.

Yes, it is the dryer sheets. I had that problem many years ago. Stopped using the dryer sheets (after ruining a few blouses) and have never had the problem again.

Do you know if these more economical that the store bought baby wipes? We use the parents choice brand from Wal mart. I don't know that I would want to use them if they are more expensive especially with my kids extra sensitive skin.
