Around here a purebred chick is anywhere from 3-5 dollars, thats not show quality either

Food for chickens? We buy organic-$20-$25 for a 50 lb bag. Hows that compare to elsewhere?

Well im from Hawaii and i get layena pellets 50 pounds (probably not organic) for $20 now was $15 but price when up with the gas

so if people are interested in buying your chicks you should be able to cover most of your food cost and maybe if you sell eggs you can make even more.

Been giving eggs to family and friends and they just donate some money. Usually $4-$5 for a dozen.
