Selling chicks, best way to run it, and get the word out?

Instead of hoping you won't have that problem, I would make a plan in case it happens.

(Also I have totally fed big snakes live chicks. 3-4 week old cockerel culls...)

First, I am gonna say "poor chicks!", now I'm gonna say, "Hey, you gotta do something with the boys!"
I am planning on doing a small batch of chicks, 5-7 of amy first hatch and see how that goes, and how fas they sell. Then I will go from there.

Snakes have to eat too and you're right - the boys have to go somewhere. This snake couldn't even take pre-killed food. What else was it gonna eat? Sometimes it got baby rabbits or rats, is that better? *shrugs* It needed to eat and that was what it got, so if you're cozy with it I'd sell to someone with a snake. But that's a you choice.

Well, before getting into selling chicks, it would be best to prepare for the case where some or not all sell. Will you be okay and able to hold unsold chicks?
Otherwise, go for it! Most people easily sell their chickens and other livestock on craigslist. You can also go to TSC community board and advertise there. Most stores have the boards near the customer service area.

I don know about selling chicks to be eaten by snakes, I don think I will do that! I would rather butcher them myself, and have me eat them, then a snake.

On Facebook, there’s somebody who sells a BUNCH of quail, eggs, and chicks called Fat Hen Farms, but I have no idea how they started being able to do that.

I can out a few in with my ducks, but not forever. I also have mobile pens that I could use, to move around my yard in the day time, and then a kennel to keep them in at night if I had to keep them as adults.

I guess the worst would be every chick is a boy, and I don sell any. I mean, the whole family would be fine with butchering, its just me who will get attached! I guess if I want to do this, then I have to be okay with butchering though.
