semi-circle tractor run

So i wanted a pen to move around the grass feild so my excess dp roos can eat grass/bugs and be tasty for soup! this is what i whipped up with leftover wire and an old trampoline frame and swing set. all i bought was tarp ($10) and some hardware ($8). sooo $18 and about 5 hours of work later....

VOILA!

Hummmm... I need a chicken tractor, I have an old unused trampoline frame, I can get all the used wire I want for free.... Looks like I'll be whipping up one myself! Thanks for the great idea!

Thats awesome! I picked up 2 frames when I posted looking for 1 on freecycle.

My dh had the same idea, but it was tall enough that I could walk inside.

Did you use pvc to connect on the bottom? (I was wondering how to do that since the poles only fit in 1 side) And pvc to connect across top?

ill go snap some photos of the connects, i used the trampoline frame with hose clamps to keep the sections together, and the long straight metal poles are from the swing set frame, i had to use a hammer to wedge them in, they fit snug. i was going to use PVC for the long straight sections but i rememberd i had the swing set poles.

ok so here at the connections, the first is the hose clamp attatching the trampoline sections together, and the second is the swing fram straight bars attatched to the trampoline frame (they were smashed together with a hammer).

Ohhhh thank you. Would have never thought about hose clamps. Those are pretty cheap!
