Sending a baby chick to chickie heaven ??

I have a chick born with the inner eye lids not open. !. Is it possible it may open in a day or two. ? 2. If not what is the most humane (for me and the chick) to send it off to chickie heaven ? ? Incubating may be fun for some of you folks ~ it is not my cup of tea !

I'm sorry and I am new at this so I don't have an answer as to what is normal. I hope someone more experienced comes along and gives you some help.

I have never heard of an inner eye lid, I do know that chickens (chicks) have three eye lids, a lower, and upper and one in the nictitating membrane. The nictitating membrane is transparent in the eye, are you sure its not that? I wouldn't send your chickie to chickie heaven give it at least two days. If your chick is struggling and showing signs of weakness than you might think of putting him I'm not sure how to though. Hope this helps and good luck!!
