there were problems at the spring show re: sale birds died that were sold by nonmembers. so the club voted to allow sales only by club members in the hopes of keeping healthier birds on the sale floor.

you have to be a member to do sales. ...click on the link in my siggy line, follow it, all the info is there. send your $$ and printed off application to the club secretary.

you need to give/send a copy of your NH test card to the club secretary. it's good, but she has to have a copy of it for the state of Maine and/or the fairgrounds people.

you can sell as much as you want as long as you are a member. set up a table whatever...there's lots of room. of course, only the show itself is in a building.....if it's raining....well.......but that's why there is so much room cuz tailgate sales are outside.

i dont see anything on that link to tell me how much to join, who to send the money too or anything, are we just emailing one of the addresses and asking?

not that its your fault, i reread and was like oops, i sound ugly, i am not , frustrated with all the new england bird clubs really. it is just so hard to get info from them, there sites are not updated. it surprises me is all.

so i ended up email webmaster, which to me sounds more like the person who builds the site than the person incharge of the emails, but will see. thanks for the link,i think..lol

all the birds i got there are healthy and great, and so is my friends.

i am wondering how many people put up flyers for this one at their local feed stores? i did some craigslist ads, some other yahoo groups, can anyone think of anything we have missed? i think we will have a good turn out. its getting closer and i want to be sure we have enough advertisement out there, thanks

Here is an address for the Northern New England Bird Fanciers Club. To join it is $12 for the year and is apparently included with the Central Maine Bird Fanciers Club.
