My homemade incubator (without thermostat at that time) swung up to like 105 degrees a couple of times, and we actually got a pretty decent hatch out of it. I'm pretty sure the other incubator swung low at least once after we transferred the eggs to it. I bet if you keep the eggs in there, you'll probably get some to hatch

I had a perfect hatch! My little ameracauna hen is the best incubator! 14 eggs, 14 chicks within 12 hours! babies are 1/2 blue wheaton ameracauna and 1/2 standard silverlaced cochin! They are so cute! they have muffs and feathered legs!

My Australorp eggs have started to hatch! Two are out and in the brooder and I have seven more pips out of twenty eight eggs so far, I started with thirty but two did not develop. So excited!
