Yay, two out and 6 more pipped. There are 6 eggs left and I've seen movement in a couple of them

OMG! I am so relieved and happy! My Bielefelder eggs arrived and I went to pick them up this morning. They were shipped from South to North Texas and look GREAT! And even though I bought only 6 he sent 10! These normally sell for $180 a dozen - I paid $29.99 I am one happy girl! All the air cells are still attached, no cracks, giant beautiful light/medium brown eggs. Had a bad scare this morning. I went to bed early with a cold and I'm not sure what happened but some time between 9pm and 3 am the temp jumped up to 109!   Luckily I woke at 3:30 am and got the temp down pretty quick but not sure how much damage it did.

My temp spiked to 110 on day 21. I did eggtopsies later and sadly it killed 7 fully developed babies, but 2 made it and are happy, healthy chicks now! There is hope!

My temp spiked to 110 on day 21. I did eggtopsies later and sadly it killed 7 fully developed babies, but 2 made it and are happy, healthy chicks now! There is hope!

I can hope so! It's only day 4 for me so it's a long wait to find out.

5 guineas, 4 cream legbars, 2 silkies, 1 frizzle silkie and 1 sizzle frizzle chirping in the egg

there are a few others not doing anything but there may be hope for a couple yet...
1 silkie pipped the air then died! poor little doll

the little guinea with the yolk, the size of a pea, still just bubbled there for a day now...not different just there, maybe it'll have an outie!

A bunch of mutts. 5 are second gen BCM x RIR crosses and 1 is a game hen x BCM/RIR mix. Like I said, a bunch of mutts but I didn't want to risk money on purebred eggs with my first hatching and if any do make it I really don't mind adding some more of these types of mutts to my flock. ^.^ They are fairly good layers and pretty docile.

Just some of my own eggs..BCM roo and lots of different breed hens. Im most excited abt the BCM and welsummer cross! Cant wait to see what they look like!

just got home about 20 mintues ago and surprise! i look in the bator and 4 of the eggs that just went into lockdown yesterday are pipping! this is only day 19 but they are shipped and the lady i bought them from says that when she hatches out serama they start at day 19 quite often.


cant wait to see what the chicks who have pipped look like when they come out
