My turkey pipped internally 3 days agoat least. I pipped the outside today. That chick is still hanging on. The veins still have blood, so I am waiting. I'm afraid to go to sleep. The last one died while I took a nap.

I had a quick look round for info. There is plenty. It seems to be common enough. It should hatch but it can take longer because they normally pip the membrane first and it should be another 24 hours before the external pip. Give it time. Good luck xx

how long has it been since the pip? it's a nice size! you may end up needing to help because it may not have enough room to turn and zip....BUT it's important not to help too soon....keep the humidity up and give it at least 24 hours....it's still absorbing yolk and blood...keep us informed

hey all! sorry getting in so late in the game here, decided to hatch my own chicks this year and got up this morning to find a floppy black baby chick in my incubator! (named it Pippin) and when I got home from work I got a nice surprise from a little blond chick with a black spot on its back (named that one Spot.)

they are doing wonderful and enjoying each others company. As for me, I'm just checking up on them every hour or so. I guess I should get some sleep some time, however, there is 4 more eggs and one of them is twitching....

my sick babies are still doing well...I've got two that seem to sneeze...the other 4 seem to have cleared up...all are eating and drinking....they are active

so far the garlic, cayenne pepper and apple cider vinegar diet seems to truthfully be helping...shouldn't be that surprising those ingredients are suppose to be very healthy for humans too! and the vet rx helps with their congestion...
