If I'm worried I just open the bator for a sec. You can also slide some foil over part to lower humidity - its surface area not water qty that matters.
huh? chicks should eat all they want...if they're crops are growing very quickly then chances are you have a roois it normal for chicks to gorge until there crops are huge?? or should i be worried??

Whilst i was candling them i noticed the air sac has gotta larger in the past 24 hours? Like the same amount it grew from day 14 til day 18? Is that normal?

I'm on Day 19!!!Have one definite growing out of 12. Wish I could have had more. I have another that I think is growing and a few "possibles". I have them hatching in the carton but I really wanted to see them rock and roll! Do you think I could quickly open the bator, lay them all down, then hatch them that way?![]()
