September Hatch-A-Long!

Mine have always changed several times. You never know what they will look like. What are the black ones that hatched?

They are all Black Copper Marans roo with Welsummer, Buff Orp, Red Sex Link, and Black Astralorp Hens.

I need to go to the grocery store but Max, the baby turkey, doesn't like to be more than a foot away from me. I can sneak her in or get a baby sitter. I will wear a baggy sweat shirt, even though it's hot. Put her in the pocket.

Well, people carry those little purse dogs everywhere they go...why not a purse turkey? I think that would be more fun.

Simply Adorable!!! Love fluffy butts were in lockdown right now day 18 I just wish somebody would pip I can't take it I took one out yesterday that was almost fully formed but died and when I got it to the sink it exploded

so now I'm worried about the rest doing the same thing! Hopefully we get at least 1! I would be happy with 1

I have 3 out of 5 that have external pips and are currently cheeping away to each other

Oh the joy!!!!

Exactly 11 hours ago i was sitting in front of the incubator enjoying a nice cup of coffee before work and i couldn't believe my ears when i heard a little cheep :-D

Stood up, looked into the incubator and saw an egg rocking

Came home 5 hours later to find 1 had made the external pip and now another 6 hours later another 2 have made little holes too.

I'm over the moon right now

Don't think i'll be sleeping much this evening - i wanna catch these babies hatching on the video camera

8 hours into Day 21 and nothing. No pips, zips, rocking, cheeping, or tapping. I broke the rules and candled some and I don't think they're alive but i'm not so sure because they're blue eggs.
