Just checking in so I don't lose the thread.

Going to set some BLRW x Splash Marans mix and some RIR/NH mixes.

on thursday my 18+ serama eggs should be here so on friday i'll put them in the bator and they should hatch on Sept 13th i think

I'm pretty sure they'll be twins if they hatch. Or one may stop developing and the other one could absorb all the other yolk and maybe hatch later. I don't know. Just food for thought.

Is the double yolker a bigger egg than a normal sized egg? I've never had one.

If they do both develop, PLEASE video them hatching.

I will try, I might not be there at the time-but I will make sure I will give you a pic if one or two chicks hatch :)

Remember. Don't count your chickens before they hatch!!! :) It's not common for them to hatch at all. You will probably have to assist the hatch if they survive.

I set my last hatch of the year. My last bunch of chocolate silkie projects. Hatch date of Sept 7th. Day before my birthday! But these silkies have been starting on day 19 and all done by day 20! Good luck everyone!
