(useing 2 25w candle (shape) bulbs would a differnt type work better or should i try uping the watts?? my junkubator cost me $0 to make. 14inx 17 in x 29in. will hold over 40 eggs on homemade turners.
I use a 65 or 75 watt for my incubator, definitely up the watts... Is your incubator in a colder area or a regular 75 degrees, because I have mine in my basement and I insulate it...

Maybe jars filled with water will help keep the temperature from extreme jumps. It'll act as an insulator.

Maybe a dry sponge would work. Not sure. I live in the desert and have issues with getting humidity up. Lol.

getting it to vary between 42 and 55 now.. ive been letting it build up and opening the lid till it drops then closeing again and each time the "high " has been lower. so maybe i'll get it soon thought i had it but it spiked again......maybe next week when we dry out a bit it will be easier.
