Have you tried rice? They say to put in a shallow dish and turn daily. Bring rice on bottom to the top. I also have heard people use those packets you get in pills that absorbs moisture.
That's an AWESOME suggestion! Thank you! I'll try the rice!

my computer is in the shop, I've been using my husbands when I can pry it from him...if I get a chance I'll get pictures!! I don't know how to do the pictures straight from my phone....they are so tiny!I think yesterdays hatch is done. 1 FCM, 1 Cochin, 4 SLW. But I have 4 pips and 1 is already zippping from my tomorrows hatch of Seramas.
You'll have to go to the BYC website from your phone web browser. It doesn't show up as the full website but more like an app. from there you should be able to get to the Sept Hatch-a-long. Scroll down or you can reply and it will place your mouse on the window that you'll type your response. There's a picture icon right above that window but a part of that window and the rest is easy.my computer is in the shop, I've been using my husbands when I can pry it from him...if I get a chance I'll get pictures!! HI, Don't worry yet..............My concern would be finding a way to keep the humidity up.So today is day 21. 1 chick hatched yesterday around 3:30 or 4pm and the other two pipped right afterwards. My question is how long after they pip should they start to zip? It has been 17 hours since they pipped. I can see movement in both of them but I'm getting worried as I am having problems keeping my humidity up. I have read everything on assisting them but I have no idea when and if I should actually help.
