I would candle them and mark the ones with the largest blob inside. Maybe number them and keep track. Candle them again in a week and check to see if same ones are still larger than the others. Remember that some of the originals might stop or might not have been fertilized. How many days do you think there is between the new ones and ones you put in?So I believe I have a situation. I have 12 eggs due on the 12 however my kids were so kind to put additional eggs in the bator and I don't know when. Sigh what would be the best way to determine due dates
I'm really hoping the power doesn't go out! Especially since I have 9 duck eggs in the bator only a few days away from lockdown. Please be nice weather please oh please oh please!
I don't wanna lose my babies!
One is my tiny homegrown banty chick and the other is a huge RIR x chick. Hope the big guy doesn't trample my little one. She has a day head start though. The last egg I could never see any development in but since I couldn't see through the blue shell at all Ill give it a couple more days just in case. Next babies are due next Thursday but I hope they hatch early since I will be going out of state Wednesday...
