Here are the babies. Named by my kids......Sleepy, sneezy, happy, bashful, Dopey, Grumpy, and Doc Any guesses on boys/girls??

My first hatch I had a little banty named bashful that looked exactly like yours!!! Toooo cute!

8 hours into Day 21 and nothing. No pips, zips, rocking, cheeping, or tapping. I broke the rules and candled some and I don't think they're alive but i'm not so sure because they're blue eggs.

Even my eggs with hens hatching them do not always jump out on day 21...................
This batch for me it was day 24 AND 25.................Don't open the incubator..........

Okay thanks! I've been having to open the bator to wet the sponges a few times a day but it's very fast, only about 5 seconds.

They are all Black Copper Marans roo with Welsummer, Buff Orp, Red Sex Link, and Black Astralorp Hens.

I love the one with the orange face.

Well, people carry those little purse dogs everywhere they go...why not a purse turkey? I think that would be more fun.

I held Max in my hand against my chest to keep her warm. No one really noticed until I was checking out. Then quite a few people came over to see and one even followed me to the car.

Well I was on a quest today so I wasn't home to check the bator every ten minutes, and 12 hours later I'm still not home, but I did make up for my silkie eggs not making it. Meet the newest members of the flock!

I don't know what I was expecting, but my chicks that hatched Thursday night and yesterday have feathers on their wings. They are so precious. I can officially confirm that my babies have made it through their first day. I'm so amazed at how wonderfully adorable they are.

Just out of curiosity, do roos start picking on other roos off the bat? I have two that were having a stand off earlier today and pecking at each other non stop. I marked them down on my list, just to see. Also, any suggestions on how to mark them to distinguish for later on? I know they are going to grow fast so I don't want to do anything too permanent at the moment. Right now I have a small piece of medical tape on the shaft of their legs with a birth order number so I could distinguish them. I know that's not going to last long though. I'm trying to note individual markings too.
