September Hatch-A-Long

I have been having problems with my LG 9200 still air maintaining temps. It would be low in the morning and then get really high in the afternoon. I candled the eggs and managed to get it on video. Is this what I should be seeing on day 9 (set on 9-6 at 3 pm), or did the high temps effect it, also does it look "normal?"

Hard to tell. Looks like long chick for most of the video then at one second looks like a second eye appears, possibly how it projects on my iPad. When you candle does it look like two sets of eyes? What type of eggs are you incubating and what do you use as your "candle light". I'm curious because I have never been able to see that well into my eggs, maybe because of the darker color of my eggs etc. I'm using one of the really bright 3 D cell mag lights with a small tube electrical taped to the light to reduce the circumference.

Day 21 starts in 1hr 11 min for me. My DW must think I'm crazy hovering over the incubator trying to catch a wiggling egg or two while she watches "her movie". I'm like, "honey, I'll be right there, one more sec." ;)

well, I have 5 of 8 out now and day 20 just ended. possibly had slightly high temps, but they all look good. I think another is starting to zip.

one of the chicks slammed a pipped egg against the side of the 'bator. I hope its ok, they are not too careful once they get out and they sure don't listen to me.:rant

(edit)
Make that 6 out now

Congrats Y N Dottes! :highfive:
