I'm on day 19... ( the end of day 19)

I have eggs wiggling and rocking in lock down.

Sweet deal.

I would bought a few dozen at that price

I shipped eggs from BYC member Houndit for 3.00 a dozen. Got a mix of purebred LF, bantams, and guineas. Set 39 eggs, 1 broke in shipment, day 7, 2 clears day 14, 4 quitters, 13 chicken eggs in lockdown, 2 pips at day 20 ish. 18 guineas should hatch next week. Nice guy and NPIP. I recommend him.

Wow, they really do pop out like popcorn after the first!! I don't even know how many are running around in there -

Poor little late eggs!! One of the ones I marked as an early internal pip at lockdown is only just now hatching - the first external pip has made no progress and may be a no show - but the incubator is alove with little ducklings pecking at eggs and stepping all over the thermometer!! hehe. What fun!

My kids last day of school today - they now have two weeks holiday to love these ducklings!!

Candled my silkie eggs. day 6. we have 2 clears, 2 that are developing, one that formed a bloodline looks like after day 4, and three early blood lines. If these two hatch that will give us a 25% hatch rate, I plan on getting more eggs. I built a 6x6 coop for the silkies...thats a lot of space for only 2 LOL But of course I am not counting my chickens until they hatch. My day 16 eggs look great! can't wait to (hopefully) get some babies!
