It was like that for me too last night. I had an early Market so I had to get to bed anyway. Today and tonight it's been a constant stare at the incubator. My Dominiques are hatching quickly but those Cream Legbars are taking forever. Those are what I am after most.

You threw them out because of detached are cells? I had 8 out of 10 with detached air cells, and hatched 7 so at least 5 of those eggs had their air cells detached.
Am I the only one who keeps those?

I have also se eggs with detached air cells, but I did it with a broody! Out of the 15 detached air cell eggs 13 hatched!

They were completely clear with tiny bubbles floating every time you moved them. I opened them and they were scrambled.

Real life getting in the way of my little chickies. Worked double shifts yesterday and today. Congrats to all the new chicks/ducklings that I missed! Love the updates, keep them coming.

I just finished vaccinating my 16 (hopefully) little ladies. Had to do it myself because my kids wore out my DH but wasn't too bad. Lost two of my original hatchery pullets to Marek dz 2-3 yrs ago (necropsy on first one, same symptoms on second) and never ever want to go through that again. Ironically they were both vaccinated from the hatchery. The pullets from my last hatch that I vaccinated myself never had any issues other than predators (knock on wood).

Day 19..i'm ready for the babies to hatch!! 2 more days....I hope this time the wait ays off. last hatch they all died shortly after lock down as my humidity went up too high. Everything is perfect this time

I had 3 hatch last night, day 21
And 3 more this morning, day 22

Still waiting on 4 more, of which 2 have just piped.

One was in distress, stuck to bottom half of shell. Put her in warm towel and ran warm water over her body till the shell worked free. Took about 10 minutes to free her, but she is doing just fine now. It was definitely a situation that I need to step in to save her.
She was practically super glued in there.

Looks like we both will be waitng together I can't wait for Tuesday- day 21 I hope to have 1 hatch by then but only the babies know.

I have 1 internal pip! I was adding water and decided to check for internal pips without moving the eggs at all real quick, since I only have 6 effs it took less than 30 seconds do add few drops of water and put light on all 6 eggs. How log until the hatch? 24 hours from internal pip? or is it 24 hrs from external pip ? this is exciting! This is the furthest I've ever made it with a hatch.
