YAYAYAYAYAY I've got PPP seramas due to hatch around the 16th I candled today and Have 6 Good eggs!!

And bluegrass Seramas and her peeps was so nice to send me a birthday batch of Eggs!! woohoo Happy B-day to me!!! Those were set today under a broody and I started up my incubators as a backup... I'm tickled pink, can't yall tell!!

I went out to feed eariler and my PPP serama eggs are hatching so far 4 have hatched 2 yellows and 2 blacks, there are 2 more eggs but they haven't pipped or anything so idk??? I felt sorry for the hen thats setting on them, we have a freeze warning for tonight so I added a heatlamp she was shivering a lil shes set for almost 2 months straight so she's a lil thin.

Correct me if I'm wrong about this....comment on backs.

If you youngster has a long back it will NEVER get short. It will just be hidden by the adult feathers.

Chances are if your youngsters parents are long backed, the offspring will be long backed.

I have hatched out 18 babies so far and maybe 1-2 have a slightly longer back. The rest are short or REALLY short!

Tail sets are excellent.

Wings are right there as well...1 or 2 might need longer legs or shorter wings!

Need to get them all on a table and start working them.

What have you found on backs?

Good news Jessi!! I went out and just got your eggs to candle, all but 1 is developing hopefully I'll have some of your lil ones running around about the 22nd!! YAY!!

I ended up with just 4 of the PPP serama's I have 2 yellows and 2 Darker ones..
the 2 yellows are TINY!! I'm a lil worried about the smallest of the two its a lil less active but I think I figured out the problem and it was too small to get to the water, I fixed a different waterier and its been at it quite often now, so hopefully it'll perk up..

I think my hen from the second batch Hen #2 is goin to be a good one, I cleaned pens this afternoon and got to looking at them good and she's begining to be very Typey!! shes got a good chest and short back!! lets hope

Just went out and took some updated pic's of all the seramas plus the PPP babies...... and I've spent the last hour searching for my cord to the camera with no luck!!!
