I only have one pair. I wasn’t sure if I’d love them and they cost me $200 so... 2 was enough 🤣. I keep them outside in a small coop but they’re in my house at the moment due to cold temps and snow. She did lay the first day or two but has since stopped and is young. I’d assume because of the time of year and possibly the stress of moving.
WOW my pair cost 35 quid

I was thinking of breeding them a little BUT my main goal is always to have friendly pets. So far they’re still skittish. I got them as year olds though, not as chicks so maybe it will take more time.

Hi I have a trio Russel Crowe sugar and splotch I hatched them in may and they have grown up to be lovely and so friendly the hens aren’t great layers at the minute because it is winter here but I do get a couple I hope to breed them next year thanks for tag @Sulky Bantam

Are Seramas cold hardy? I know they are from Malaysia. Do it does not get cold up there. Right now night time temperature are in the low 30’s. F

That my main concern about them.
I would recommend Japanese for a little more cold hardiness. No, I don't think they would be OK in that, mine are indoors in the winter.
