Serama eggs from Castle Delight Seramas

No

Once the hens lay the eggs you just save them in a cool area so they don't start to incubate and then you ship them to your customer. Then when they recieve them they let the "set" for a couple of hours, then put them in their incubate.

Great photos Silkie! I honestly cannot tell the sexes on any of those yet. They do not scream either sex to me yet. Trust me, by 6 weeks you will know for sure the girls from the boys. They are too young yet

Edited to say I looked at the photos closer lol and yes, I see sexes now. I should have my eyes checked I think

Sending you a PM now....

the pictures of all the new babies are adorable! I just LOVE looking through them.

I had two little tiny babies hatch (my first Seramas) on day 20 yesterday. They are absolutely adorable. I will get pics up as soon as they are dry and fluffy! I haven't seen any more pips, but honestly for shipping eggs from OR to OH I received all eggs safely without a crack and 10/15 developed to day 14 (so great fertility). I am hoping for maybe another chick, but THRILLED with the 2 babies I have! I knew I was taking a chance with shipped eggs from so far, but I wanted Castle Delight Seramas

Congrats!! You will most likely see them pipping like crazy today (day 21). Never give up till day 23 or 24. Just because a couple hatch early doesn't mean the rest are done

I had one hatch on day 20 and the others hatching like popcorn on day 21 and 22 this last time.

Some more Castle Delight babies

I received this photo in my email this morning.

10 out of 12 hatched this weekend for this gentlman, even after a 13 hour power failure in the middle of incubation!
