I'm hatching some right now, not Laura's but from Jerry in LA., he sent my grand-daughter some the day after Christmas, he was very nice only charged us shipping for them.I have 5 that made it to lockdown and I am just waiting to see how many hatch. I have a broody sitting on her eggs in the barn. I will have eggs for Laura next month and also in March and then I hope to take a break for the summer if I can stop my crazy habit, lol. I love the tiny babies they are so sweet.

I know how you feel, I am nervous every time and even if they all candle good there is always that chance they will not hatch. Good luck

I did my first hatch ever last month with seramas and things actually turned out really well for me. 5 out of 6 hatched. I lost one chick 5 days later though the whole process was a great learning experience though and I am much more relaxed now on my second attempt, which is a good thing because I'm down to only 2 eggs! Lockdown is Saturday. Then Laura's eggs are going in probably next Wednesday so I will have Valentine's Day babies What day are you on with your eggs?

Yes! Pictures, pictures, pictures!! Wishing everyone luck with their hatches! I will be recieving CDS eggs in May...yes, a long wait....and I am so excited! It will be my first time EVER hatching eggs so I will be closely watching and looking for tips.....oh, and some eye candy to keep me pacified until then. lol

Louis' Hawk laid her first egg last week!! I totally didnt realize her and Rocky were already 21 weeks! Time flies!!

I put my eggs in the bator last Thursday evening. So I'm counting Friday as day one? Right? If so, then I'm on day 6. (I couldn't wait to candle, so I candled tonight. I have something in all but two. I put a few of my silkie eggs in to compare. I need a better flashlight/candler to make sure what I'm seeing is developement and not a bloodring, in some. But the two that where clear, had nothing. I cracked one open, and it is definetly clear.)
