Serama Rooster sitting on eggs

My Serama rooster is sitting on his hens eggs, which I've never seen. Has anyone else seen this and might know why?

I doubt it will last for long, my boys sometimes go 'broody' but not for more than a few minutes.

There was a thread of a rooster in a nest box and someone posted that someone else's rooster hatched a clutch of eggs. I don't know if it is true or false.

I have seen mine sitting in the nest box with a hen for a few hours.

My rooster who was a RIR went broody and hatched all 12 eggs he then left it up to the hens to raise the babies cause he had to be the "man" of the roost again
